Finally DCE has a website!!! I have been longing since 1995 that DCE should also have a website and an alumni association. This is a great website. Do we have any souvenir shop in DCE? Are there any DCE T-Shirts/Caps other such stuff available at the new campus? If any one has any information pls do write back. If anyone from the Electronics Batch of 1990 is in Bangalore, pls do contact me.

Discovered the link to DCE site today while browsing through Gov. of India home page. Very pleased to browse through the information and pictures on the site. Keep up the good work. Some of you might have read about the news item carried in TOI gew days back where it was reported that the alumni of IIT-KGP gave about 25 million $ to their institute which helped wire up their campus. Now, its something our alumni must also think about - giving it back to the institute, where we need some help - after all a lot of DCEites are in a very good position to do that.

I am happy that we have a website where we all can meet virtually and send messages. But it will be better if we all get together and atleast once a year conduct some get together parties, where DCEit's from all batches should be invited and Ex-Dceit's who have really been succesful and are leaders in the industry should be invited for speeches. That will not only make our network strong but will help us meet our old own friends. We can make this happen by placing an adv in the newspaper.
It will be a great fun and experience to have such kind of get togathers. If any powerful DCEit can make this happen then please start now.

It's very reassuring to know that there are so many successful DCE alumni and that
their loyalty to the college is still so strong. This is the first time i've seen the site and
it looks very impressive; congrats to the designers! DCE needs your help if it is to regain
its glory. I've just completed my 2nd sem in EE and am getting bored in the holidays, and would like to work at a project (however small). Any suggestions?

Hey Buddies, How is everybody in the new campus. Well we never get to see the new campus but i wish all the best to all new comers. Since we (our group) was quite famous for the ragging so i really miss that. I really miss my all friends they used to call me Raja, Raj, RK and SKP. Well if there is anybody from 1994 batch then they will definitely remember me as I was quite famous for losing the elections.

Baba ki kahani sunkar to yaden taza ho gayi, Baba started his chai corner in Audi corridor, later moved to outside the gate. He still used to come to his old place whenever it rained . We like usual kadke and too lazy to go to ISBT to get sutta used to borrow Bidi from him. I was really pleased to see Imran Khan's message on the board. His full name is Imran Khan 'Zakhmi' (Zakhmi is his title), he live in room number 23. His room was monument. Going in to West Hostel and not seeing Room No 23 was a big miss....any comments Imran bhai.....

Whenever I look back to our days at DCE, it always brings a smile to my face. Whether its the mischief of the monkeys or the primates (us). Or the general feel of new beginnings being made. We were there at a time when the transistion was "the thing" in DCE. We saw Troika being conducted for the first time and (within 2 years) go on to become a big event. We laid the foundations of MACH, worked for the success of MACH-96 and 97 and its heartening to note that even MACH has become quite a brand now. I left with only one regret, that we missed being in the new campus.
